ROCK STAR

Macy is the next Madonna----okay, maybe I should find a different celebrity but the name fits. Her knew thing is to do concerts for us. She lip syncs and dancing while we sit in the audience. These were taken at Aunt Judy's birthday party. Macy had an audience of 15 people cheering her on. It's really fun to watch her!!! Go Macy!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!!!

Today was the first day of school and the first day I had all my kids in school ALL DAY!!!!! I ran errands all day long so I really don't know how it feels yet to be home all alone with no kids. Honestly, I don't think I'm going to like it. I think I would rather have Macy home with me if I'm going to be home anyways cleaning and doing laundry. It's going to really strange. The kids all had a great successful first day. Tomorrow we're praying the bus makes it out to us. I had to twist the bus barns arm to drive the extra 2 miles round trip to pick up my kids.

Madison is in the 8th grade....her last year of middle school!! She is going through volleyball tryouts right now.

Christian is in the 5th grade...his last year of elementary school...he's playing soccer and taking a hip hop class.

Caden is in the 2nd grade and he's playing soccer.

Macy is in the 1st grade and she's taking gymnastics.

Toothless Wonder Week

This week both Caden and Christian lost their front teeth. Caden lost both his front teeth this week (altought the picture is after losing the first one) and Christian lost his second front tooth that has been hanging on for years!!! He lost his first front tooth a couple of years ago. Christian wrote the tooth fairy a note pleading for $15 or $20 because he had to work so hard to finally get this tooth out! The tooth fairy evidently agreed and paid him $20!!!

Our New Home

We've been in our home now for about 4 months. We sold our house, moved into an apartment for 10 months while we built the home we'll remain in until we're old and gray (which doesn't seem too far off)! We built on 5 acres about 4 miles "out" of town and we love the solitude it brings. The kids say we live with the coyotes!!! That we do!

Theresa's Spokane Bday Party

For Theresa's party, we went to Spokane to shop and then ride to Coeurdelane, Idaho on our bikes which was 55 miles round trip in 105 degree heat! But what a blast we had. Top picture: Seated from left to right is myself, Tami, Dana, Leslie H, Kristy, and Bday girl Theresa in back.

Mom's 60th Birthday

Lots of things happened this summer and since I'm new to the whole blogging thing, there seems to be lots of catch up. I'm only highlighting the highlights!!! This past May, my mother turned 60 and all five of us kids and our families got together to celebrate her birthday (with the exception of Brad's wife Nina and son Kyler who were sick). This is a picture of my parents and us kids. Back row: Brad, J, Dad, Leslie, Bob, Mike and Mom in front.

Breaking Dawn Concert

On August 12, Madison and I, along with my best friend Kristy Hebdon and daughter Alyssa, met sister-in-law Julina and Julina's mom Pam in Seattle for Stephenie Meyers' Breaking Dawn concert. It was really great with the lead singer of the group Blue Oktober singing with just his acoustic guitar. After the concert, we got all our books signed.

Our Montana Trip

Our big trip this summer was a 9 day camping trip up to Montana at my Grandpa Sousley's homestead now owned by cousin Bud Webber. We learned about my Flathead Indian ancestors and had a great time white water rafting, tubing down the cold canal, fishing, shooting guns, hiking, and ATVing. So fun! There 43 people in attendance from our immediate family to 3rd and 4th cousins we had never met before. We then headed up to Glacier National Park for a couple of nights.
